Adults of all ages come to the Samaritan Counseling Center-- individually, in couple relationships or as part of families.
If you are… • struggling with anxiety, depression, doubt, a sense of failure or lack of fulfillment • interested in improving your parenting skills • coping with loss or grief • seeking improvement in family, school or social relationships • wondering how to achieve greater satisfaction in your job or vocation • in the throes of divorce, mid-life, career change or other life transitions • seeking a more nurturing loving connection with your mate • part of a blended family striving to foster loving stepfamily relationships • searching for a vital, conscious spirituality • seeking to cope with and make meaning of the process of aging
Our therapists are trained to work with individuals either in short term solution focused therapy, or in longer term insight oriented therapy. We welcome adults of all faiths, or no faith.
If your faith is important to you, or there is a spiritual question involved in the situation that brings you to the Samaritan Center, our therapists will honor your spirituality, and help you integrate your own faith in the process of therapy.
Counselors at the Samaritan Counseling Center are trained and experienced to work with individuals, couples and families on issues of meaning, self-worth and value. Our therapists are knowledgeable, skilled and theologically informed. Several are ordained clergy.
The integration of psychology and spirituality – combined with respect for each person’s personal convictions – helps us meet a broad spectrum of emotional and spiritual needs.
Please call me by my true names, so I can wake up, and so the door of my heart can be left open, the door of compassion.
